Journal policies
The rules that authors, reviewers and editors of Jurisverge follow.
Peer review
Every paper that passes editorial screening goes to at least two independent reviewers. Authors and reviewers do not know each other’s names. The editors make the final decision.
Publication ethics
The journal does not accept plagiarism, fabricated data or falsified sources. Authors must cite all sources and must not submit the same work to two journals at once.
Plagiarism
Every manuscript goes through a similarity check. The editors read each report and may reject the paper or ask for changes.
Generative AI
Authors must disclose any use of generative AI in research or writing. An AI tool cannot be named as an author. Authors remain responsible for every statement and citation.
Authorship and conflicts of interest
Every named author must have contributed to the work and approved it. Authors, editors and reviewers must declare any conflict of interest. An editor with a conflict takes no part in the decision on that paper.
Editors and reviewers
Editors and reviewers keep manuscripts confidential. They do not use unpublished work for their own research.
Open access and licence
Every article is free to read on publication under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 licence.
Copyright
Authors keep their copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication. Later reuse should credit Jurisverge as the first publisher.
Fees
The journal charges no submission, processing or publication fee.
Corrections and retractions
The journal publishes corrections and retractions alongside the original article, with the reason stated.
Complaints and appeals
Write to editors.jurisverge@gmail.com. An editor who was not involved in the decision will look into the matter.
Privacy
Names and email addresses sent to the journal are used only for the journal’s work.
